The animation is very rough, and choppy, but the timing and shots are pretty good. it's not bad for your first time animating.

Just keep doing what you're doing, practice by making short loops, and with time your animations will look better.

Everybody's got an ugly phase when they start, and the more you draw/animate, the faster you'll get out of that phase.

Just a fun little animation that feels like it came-out in the 2000s.

First time seeing a Piconjo video, and I've got to say...it caught me off guard, but in the best way possible.

The animation may be minimal, but the story more than makes up for it. My god, I was laughing the whole way through.

Reminds me of a paddle-boat story of my own: We have this paddle-boat we used all the time at our cottage, and we knew that the seal on it was all worn-down so it would constantly fill-up with water overtime, but we used it anyway for fun.

We never got the paddle-boat to sink, it would just get filled to the brim with water, but you could still "use" it. It was to the point where we'd purposefully try to sink the damn thing multiple times by jumping on it and flipping it over, but the thing would still float to the top (well more like near the top). We still have it at our cottage, and we still didn't fix it. Though, we'll either throw it out, or finally replace the seal on it.

Pretty cool animation, and surprisingly smooth for 13FPS. I do see some artifacting here and there, but I think that might be a flipaclip problem.

Never heard of flipaclip before. Though, if you want to use a different program to animate I have a few alternatives for Mac and PC:

Krita is nice program that's mainly used to draw, but it can also be used for basic traditional animations. It's a bit weird since it feels like photoshop with an animation timeline, and it's a bit of a heavy program too so it may not run smoothly all the time when animating, but the option is there.

Pencil2D is a janky yet simple and lightweight program that's able to do both traditional and vector animations...with the only problem being that you essentially only have MS-Paint tools to work with (minus the text tool). It's kinda bad, and you need to find workarounds if you make complicated animations, but maybe it's a step above flipaclip? i don't know.

Never tried adding audio in either program. I don't think Krita supports audio, but I know that Pencil2D has that feature, but the devs recommend using a video editor for sound mixing instead since they admit their program is terrible with audio. Something like OpenShot is probably good enough to do the job.

All of these programs are free, so you can try them yourself to see if you like them.

Hope this helps! ...Even if my tools aren't much better honestly.

Thx for the help! Not sure if i can try them tho but maybe i will

Someone on Twitter once told me that Cash Grab mechanics weren't bad because they're "the norm" now. I tried clarifying it to them that these mechanics were made to pray on people with gambling addictions, but they didn't change their opinion.

I didn't bother arguing with them because they're probably too ignorant to understand the significance, and it would be a waste of time anyway.

But yeah, if this is "the new norm" then I fucking hate it! What even the point of playing anymore if you constantly need to be online and have your credit-card hardwired to your phone at all times. Can't play a modern game without signing your life away first!

...This is why I stick to games pre 2010s, you just put the game in and press start.

Cool animatic you've got there. Would love to see this fully animated someday.

Interesting little style you've got going on there. The animation is pretty decent, but things feel like they're moving too fast. One way to fix that is by adding more frames that slow it down a bit between each action/scene (AKA: Easing). Another fix is slow it down you entire animation until it's timed perfectly, then adding frames to bring it back up to speed.

Finding the right timing for everything in animation is tough, but keep animating and you'll eventually find your groove.

Cookie-Animation responds:

Thanks for the input. Yeah alot of people say the same it's too fast. It was my first animation and I didn't know anything about timing lol just go here do that wtf is 3s lol but I'm hoping the next one I'll have it down some what.

Rabbids...a fate worse than death.

Very relatable.
