Reminds me of Flash games of old...both in a good and bad way.

Had a lot of fun with this one, but the blue and red puzzle rooms just kind of annoyed me. The purple puzzle room was fine, and I liked the disappearing floor challenges. the blue puzzle room was a bit annoying due to the thwomp-alikes crushing me as I was solving the puzzle, but I got some good "aha!" moments in there though. The Red puzzle room though made me rage quit; The arrows were just too much man. The puzzles had good ideas, but you wait so long just to solve some of these puzzles, and the checkpoints make it aggravating because they reset the puzzle. By the time I got to the arrow staircase, I couldn't take it anymore.

It was a blast while it lasted, but just like some of these old flash games I've played when I was younger they don't really know how to curve the difficulty properly.

Good stuff. Though, it feels like there should be a way for the character to attack. I found the enemies can sometimes be impossible to maneuver around, or can blindside you when you hang around the top part of the screen. I got used to it eventually, but maybe you could include either a power-up that makes the character swing their sword when they jump for a limited time, or include a way for the character to attack (either as a separate button or hitting space when close to an enemy) with a limited amount of sword swings ("sword ammo").

Again the game is great as is, but maybe the ability to attack could make some of the enemy placements a little more forgiving.

Fun game. Kind of reminds me of Rayman 1 with its quick and twitchy movement. Though there's a couple problems I have with this game:
Firstly is the camera: it's headache educing with it constantly whiping back & forth. Either tone-down the speed or make the resolution wider, and don't whip the camera when you get hit. I'd constantly lose where I was whenever I'd get hit, and would die because of that.

Secondly, make items a little more visible. Being low-rez is nice and all, but sometimes it makes finding items and switches harder to see with the pixelated environments. Try to limit the colours for the environment, so that the items can be more visible. Ex: Keep the yellow for the stars, and try to avoid yellow and orange for the environments. Keep the brown for the books and don't use a similar brown for the dirt.

Finally, the path for the switches feel invisible. The collectibles are stars, the switch paths are smaller stars, and there's stars flying everywhere when you're close to the goal. It gets very confusing to find where the switch leads with everything being stars. At the very least colour the stars a different colour so they stand-out, and I won't confuse them for collectibles or part of the background.

Again, good game, but it just needs a couple tweaks to become a great game.
