Really great game! The difficulty curve is a little harsh (1st level is piss easy, second level is balls hard), but overall still a fun time. I also just love how the tankmen just beat the shit out of everyone instead of using guns.

Fun fact: for the hell of it I decided to use my childhood Core2 Duo PC (now running Arch Linux as a way to do quick browsing and other things) to run this game, and apart from the slowdown from the amount of object on screen it's surprisingly playable. This Ruffle project sure is something I tell ya.

We did a lot of optimizing too :-)

Great little game. My only gripes are that:

>It wasn't completely clear the first time that you can recharge with the recharge platforms. The sound did indicate something was happening, but I didn't realize it came from those platforms until the fourth level where I ran-out of energy a lot.
[maybe add some sort of subtle visual indication when standing on the recharge platforms? Like a little zap when you land on one, or even multiple little zaps if you walk on them to indicate that power is going through the bulb. Minor stuff that goes a long way]

>On the fourth level with the lever and moving platform, it's a little too tight with the energy. I had the puzzle figured-out, but I'd always run-out of energy an inch away from the recharge platform on the other side. I did make it through by not moving before landing to slide and conserve just enough energy and barely reaching the recharge platforms on the other side.
[you can either add a little more energy to Bulb Boy on this level, make the recharge platform on the other side reach the edge a little more, or just add a recharge platform on the moving platform...though, that one could be a little tough to program]

Apart from those, I really like the game! The music, graphics, the sound design, and the level design are on point!

Pretty good point & click game. Love the art. There's a few problems here and there like how interactive objects don't get highlighted when you mouse over them, how you can't put away things that you grab in you inventory, and that meat puzzle in the end took me a while to understand what to do with it.

Overall, like I said, it's a short and sweet point & click game, and most of these problems can be fixed in the next game.

Pretty cool game! With how you need to concentrate on the drawing and avoiding it almost feels like a lost DSiWare game.

It sounded like a short game at first with it only having 9 floors, but the constant deaths made me realize that no...9 floors is definitely long enough, and it's also easy to get back to where you were too so it's not a painful ride back to where you last died.

I didn't beat the game yet (stuck on floor 6), but looking at the medals I see that there's an endless mode too. A great feature for such a simple game.

The only downside is that it's not the most convenient to play with it needing a tablet to play properly (maybe a laptop touchpad if you tinker with the settings a ton), but it still lots of fun once you do get everything set up properly.

It's a game...Not really all that interesting, and I found that sticking to the bottom of the arena is the best strat.

Really fun game! Really hard too, but a fun hard!

It's a bit weird not being able to shoot up or down in a top-down game, but oddly enough the simplicity made it way better to focus on the game.

It's weird to explain, but playing games with a keyboard alone works best with NES style controls (2-3 buttons + D-pad). Anything more just makes it a little hard to keep track, or it gets uncomfortable to play.

Fun stuff! Truly a worthy successor to those parallel parking flash games.

My only complaints are that you can't always turn the car when it decelerates, and the car controls are also a little touchy sometimes.

Fun game. Not much to complain about apart from the disappearing platforms taking a tad too long to re-appear, and not being able to jump after getting hit which made me fall down pits or get hit by the enemy again.

As of writing Ruffle makes this game nearly unplayable, as it doesn't show most platforms you need to jump on...I still managed to beat the game though.

Ruffle problems aside, it's fun! A little jankyer than I remembered, but it's still a nice blast from my childhood.

UPDATE (Oct 22nd 2024): The game now runs flawlessly on the Linux version of Ruffle now!

Fun game! Though, I think my computer is a tad too slow to run it properly, it feels like running a game at PAL speeds with how slow everything goes. If you can optimize it I'd appreciate it, but it's not a priority.

If I can still enjoy this game in slow-mo, then you know you've done a good game.
