Awesome drawing. Love how the veins frame the angelcat

Although I'm not sure if that's healthy to have an angelcat that close to your heart, you should probably ask a doctor about that

sinnykitt responds:

Thank you sm!!
an angel in my heart is always good don't need no doctor to know that uvu

Really cool 3D model you've made. Looks just like the artwork, and I love the halftone shading you gave it.

The spheres do clip with one-another. Though I'll be honest, I have no clue how you can really fix that apart from rendering it multiple times with different body parts. Makes it harder to work with that way however, unless Blender has a way to combine multiple render cycles into one output.

Haven't worked with 3D stuff all that much.

Good work regardless!

PixelPal responds:

Yeah I wasn't sure how to fix the clipping, tried connecting the orbs but that didn't work either. There might be something I can do with render layers but yeah I'm not an expert either lol. Thank you!

This is my absolute favourite drawing from the Tankmas event, and also my favourite drawing you've done.

It's so well done, and the atmosphere is amazing! Plus the "there she is" characters is the cherry on top.

PITBULLMUTAFUCKA responds:

TYSM NOTH!!

HOLY JESUS GRANDMA!!! YOU'RE ALIVE!!!

Nice character btw. Very cute. I also like how even though you didn't draw the line between the torso and the sleeve, and the line to separate the feet, you can still tell that they're separated. Normally this would turn a character into a blob when you don't draw these important lines, but it somehow works in your style.

Nicely done!

Hopefully things go well in the Secret Santa this year. I stopped doing it in favour of doing my own thing.

wormsins responds:

THANKS SM NOTH!! long time no see!!!!
i havent been active on much as of late but im getting back into it!!!

Even with the bitmap tracing, it still turned-out really well. You can excuse yourself for "cheating" because you were mid breakdown while drawing, and people tend to have less patience for meticulous details while in that mood.

I guess one way you can practice making these backgrounds is by using the traced bitmap versions as a reference instead of using it directly, along with a version with brighter lighting so can see where all the walls are. Perspective is a bitch to learn, but to me I just treat everything as a cube, and that helps a ton

PS: I will sometimes just use real photos I've taken for my backgrounds when I feel a little lazy, so in a way I'm just as bad sometimes.

PhonographClock responds:

I've actually been going out and taking a lot of pictures just so I can throw them into Flash later and bitmap trace them. It's been really neat to try and observe how Flash simplifies everything. I don't think I'm anywhere near close enough to replicating it myself but I'm sure I'll get there in time.
Thank you for the kind review!! <3

Points for putting the earbuds IN the character's ear instead of on the side of their head like I see so many other pro artists do.

Besides that, pretty nice and cozy looking drawing.

Onziware responds:

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! c:

I'm glad you noticed that! I like how easy it is to wear earbuds on anthros, because I don't need to make any adaptations to their design to avoid strangeness, which is a completely opposite case from headphones... headphones can look terrible on animal people if no adjustments are made, like in Arthur!

oooOOOooo, I'd love to see that Neocities website when it's done. Been thinking of doing one myself, but I've been too busy tinkering with my computers to work on it.

Good luck with those exams! And on the bright side, when they're done you'll have all the time in the world to work on your Neocities website.

At least for a little bit until school starts-up again.

sinnykitt responds:

I was already halfway done with it years ago but deviant art crapped the bed and broke all my image urls and subsequently my gallery and I quit out of frustration XD

yess that's my main motivator to survive those darn exams!

Hoo mama. Those are some massive curves. Not judging your body preferences btw, you draw what you like.

Though, ironically enough despite these massive assets, it kinda looks a little flat. I think part of it might be because the shading. Maybe the anatomy. Possibly the posing.

The colours, linework, and the lettering looks good. It's just to me it's missing a little something to make it go from good to great.

Vista-Sound13 responds:

'Just getting started on anatomy. I appreciate your detailed input.

He looks like a Brett

On a more serious note, how about Jez? It's the nickname of the founder of Argonaut Software (Jeremy San) who made Star Fox.

I really like the colours on this one. You'd think that many bright colours would be blinding to look at, but you managed to pull it off quite well.

creepincrawl responds:

Hahaha, not a bad idea! I'll keep it in mind :]

And thanks!! That's a big goal I have with my art.

I don't think that's how that challenge works, but I like the art so...good job!

RE: The "on-model" one looks like it's just like the PS2 model, but if you actually drew it I'll believe you.

XOCHIBUNSAI responds:

It is??? I don’t see what’s wrong with it, I drew both of them

I do incredible things that look normal to everyone else.
