Finally! Someone who actually agrees with me!

Sonic 1, 3&K, and CD are all better than Sonic 2!

HOLY JESUS GRANDMA!!! YOU'RE ALIVE!!!

Nice character btw. Very cute. I also like how even though you didn't draw the line between the torso and the sleeve, and the line to separate the feet, you can still tell that they're separated. Normally this would turn a character into a blob when you don't draw these important lines, but it somehow works in your style.

Nicely done!

Hopefully things go well in the Secret Santa this year. I stopped doing it in favour of doing my own thing.

Ah, the wonders of childbirth

Even with the bitmap tracing, it still turned-out really well. You can excuse yourself for "cheating" because you were mid breakdown while drawing, and people tend to have less patience for meticulous details while in that mood.

I guess one way you can practice making these backgrounds is by using the traced bitmap versions as a reference instead of using it directly, along with a version with brighter lighting so can see where all the walls are. Perspective is a bitch to learn, but to me I just treat everything as a cube, and that helps a ton

PS: I will sometimes just use real photos I've taken for my backgrounds when I feel a little lazy, so in a way I'm just as bad sometimes.

I've actually been going out and taking a lot of pictures just so I can throw them into Flash later and bitmap trace them. It's been really neat to try and observe how Flash simplifies everything. I don't think I'm anywhere near close enough to replicating it myself but I'm sure I'll get there in time.
Thank you for the kind review!! <3

I heard looking at the sun gives you super powers

Shade seems like a nice guy all things considered.

Points for putting the earbuds IN the character's ear instead of on the side of their head like I see so many other pro artists do.

Besides that, pretty nice and cozy looking drawing.

Onziware responds:

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! c:

I'm glad you noticed that! I like how easy it is to wear earbuds on anthros, because I don't need to make any adaptations to their design to avoid strangeness, which is a completely opposite case from headphones... headphones can look terrible on animal people if no adjustments are made, like in Arthur!

Absolutely beautiful background! Love the warm leaves, the cool sky, and of course the babe in the middle.

I'm an absolute sucker for forest backgrounds, and you did a fantastic job of making it just simple enough to not clash with the character on top.

Thumbs-up!

This looks like the type of dude that blast his music while doing sick Tony Hawk Pro Skater combos, and screaming "WHERE DID IT ALL GO WRONG!!!" just to cure his depression.

Nice art btw. Love the simple 2000s-like style you've got going on. Feels almost like a magazine cover of sorts.

oooOOOooo, I'd love to see that Neocities website when it's done. Been thinking of doing one myself, but I've been too busy tinkering with my computers to work on it.

Good luck with those exams! And on the bright side, when they're done you'll have all the time in the world to work on your Neocities website.

At least for a little bit until school starts-up again.

sinnykitt responds:

I was already halfway done with it years ago but deviant art crapped the bed and broke all my image urls and subsequently my gallery and I quit out of frustration XD

yess that's my main motivator to survive those darn exams!

An artist by night, asleep by day, and occasionally a computer nerd.
