I'M GOING ON HIATUS!!!

Apologies to my loyal fans, but I just can't take the deafening silence anymore. I've been performing my heart out on what seemed to be an empty audience for 3 years with no improvement no matter how hard I ruin myself to reach these goals and keep a routine going.

I have to take a break and focus on more important things in my life (like making money with my skills) instead of killing myself for freaking peanuts every month. This whole thing was getting to an unhealthy degree, and I need to clean-up after myself instead of letting everything pile-up.

~~>What to expect going forward

No more "Artist of the Month"
No more "Old Art Showcase"
No more plan for the current month

Monthly updates will still happen (writing to the void just comes naturally)
Monthly comics are going to continue (Liked making them)
Special events I have planned are still happening (like the Christmas events)
I post whatever, whenever

No more trying to please an audience that cares very little, or trying to keep-up with an invisible quota. I'm not one of the lucky ones, so why even bother trying. Being popular is for the lucky, not the skilled, and I learned that the hard way.

I should have known better, I guess.

I Can understand that, My friend!! I know how it sometimes feel hard to keep all of this in control, So I hope you would have a great Rest Time, to take care of yourself!! I hope you would have a great chilling time

I think it’s a much better choice to post whenever you want, otherwise it just becomes stressful which is completely unnecessary. Have a good rest, and remember: you should also be making art for yourself and your own enjoyment, not only for other people. Art becomes way less fun otherwise.

Yeah, I've been trying to draw something at least once a month for a few years now just to keep some sort of engagement, but it got to the point where my art took over everything I was doing.

I wanna do more tech things, animation things, 3D things, and even a bit of video editing, website things, along with taking care of personal stuff, but it was hard to balance a few of those when I wanted to draw some really cool art. Especially when I needed to practice an entirely new art style.

That most recent one took around 70 hours to make, spread across an entire month, half of that was just studies. All that, just to try and see if I could get more attention, but got barely any instead.

Those small stings pile-up after a while, and now it's just not as fun to draw things, so I'm gonna do all the stuff I actually want to work on just to cheer myself back up.
